The Story so Far

From flying aircrafts to holding a baby in my arms, my cockpit shifted but my mission to lead with precision never did.

I’m Barkha Chellani a commercial pilot, ritual keeper, postpartum navigator, and the founder of Cockpit to Crib.

This platform was born at the intersection of two very different runways: aviation and motherhood. And like every great journey, mine began with loss, love, and a deep calling to rise.

When I was 16, I lost both my parents in a tragic accident.

In that moment, life handed me grief before guidance. But instead of turning bitter, I turned inward. Instead of breaking down, I built resilience quietly, steadily, fiercely. My healing became my fuel. My sky was still waiting.

I trained to become a pilot. I built a life of structure, systems, and sharp decision-making. I mastered checklists, emergency protocols, and precise rhythms, everything that keeps a cockpit steady, no matter the turbulence.

At 17, I met the love of my life, my now husband and my greatest ally.

He’s a pilot too.

Over a ten-year courtship filled with laughter, growth, and emotional maturity, we built a foundation not just of love but of deep friendship, respect, and teamwork.

My daughter was born, motherhood arrived. My husband and I decided to parent consciously. We built systems and structures to support my postpartum healing.

A New Flight Plan

Despite years of navigating the skies, nothing prepared me for the hormonal chaos, identity shift, postpartum exhaustion, and emotional recalibration that motherhood demanded.

I didn’t have family support. I didn’t have a roadmap.

But I had something else: my training.

So I did what I knew best

I built a system.

Cockpit to Crib was born not as a blog, but as a motherhood command center.

This space is for high-performing women whether you’re a homemaker, entrepreneur, or executive who are transitioning into motherhood and feeling unanchored.

Every mother experiences an identity shift.

Every mother faces silent storms.

But few are handed a system to navigate them.

That’s what I’ve built.

That’s what I now teach.

From emotional first aid kits to spiritual rituals, from daily rhythms to crisis-day checklists I share the exact tools I used (and still use) to show up fully, with grace and groundedness, as a mother and a woman.

Welcome to Cockpit to Crib

Welcome to Cockpit to Crib

Where structure meets softness, where precision meets presence, and where motherhood is treated with the reverence and rigor it deserves. I’m not here to teach perfection. I’m here to equip you to mother yourself, while you mother your child. Let’s fly this new chapter together, consciously, and in full command.
